This will be a gift so I haven’t tried it - luckily I read reviews which said it wasn’t solar powered. That’s correct, it requires batteries which aren’t included. Hopefully it will work ok. (Shame it was packaged in plastic which isn’t eco-friendly when other items were in cardboard.)
