The lip is not well shaped, causing more boiling hot water than required to cascade everywhere when pouring; The lid has developed a rattle after 10 months use, which does not seem to affect function but is somewhat disconcerting; The filter flap sometimes flaps up and out of the lid & I cannot remove it to clean it
