I really like this lamp but I have to agree with others about being able to see through the shade. If the light fixtures inside were white instead of black they wouldn’t be so noticeable. Very elegant all the same and was straightforward to put together. Thanks to the reviewer who gave the warning about the glass bit at the bottom.

This is a very good proper floor lamp. It is solid and classic. Here is the case where price shows quality.

Sturdy; right colour; well made; good shade, a little too transparent but will do.
