Assembly - Didn't really need the instructions as you can easily guess what you need to do, and it was very easy to assemble. Quality - The lampshade itself is just a flat piece of canvas, which clips around two rings and fastens via velcro. Once put together, and you hide the velcro edge away from sight, it looks decent. Just managing expectations for a cheapish floor lamp in case you're expecting something more high-end. The pole comes in four pieces and screws together. Very well made though, and you'd have to look hard to see the joins. The base is nice and weighs a fair bit. Overall - very good floor lamp for the price, in my opinion. 5/5.. Leigh. Maidstone, GB. Solid and very stylish floor lamp. Despite reading some negative reviews it came securely packaged and well within the timescale despite being transported from Austria. Couldn’t be happier with it, the colour is very stylish as is the quality of the lamp. It is particularly heavy at the base but the upside is it provides a very safe and solid structure. I found it pretty easy to assemble on my own with everything fitting together neatly. The instructions, whilst brief, were helpful to use. The packaging was secure and there were no bumps or bashes to any of the parts. The shades fitted securely and the bulbs which I bought separately also fitted well. I also liked the five arms holding the shades as these were easy to move around into the style you want - there is no need to slacken and tighten any screws. 2 minor observations are that it comes with a 2 pin European plug which requires you to buy an adapter, and also the on/off switch for the lamp is a bit persnickety.
