This is a perfect light for most rooms. We needed a replacement light for a bedroom with a number of criteria to fit all requirements: as flush to the ceiling without too low a 'drop' (as the ceiling is quite low); something that looks good with or without the lights on; and good brightness. This fit the bill on all aspects - it's a very pretty light which hangs well and provides excellent light. My husband fitted it very easily (the only thing is that there were no screws provided with the bracket but we just reused the old ones from our previous fitting).
