This is super pretty in person! I’ve given four stars as it’s not the most durable and it has various scratchesmarks. Reviews are right in saying that it’s very flimsy and will get small cracks if you hold it from the sides SO BE CAREFUL HANDLING! I’m not sure if this happens with all orders but many reviews including my product has arrived with many black marks that I cannot remove despite cleaning it twice. And yes it did come in a box of newspaper for me too so I would be wary that it may come damaged. Still love it (not so much for the price) and does look great in my bedroom!. Emily. London. If you are undecided on what shade to get and just need something temporarily, you can't go past this. Great price and quality; even the box and packaging was designed to ensure no breakage. The shade itself is solid and has a beautiful edged finish on the bottom edge. Even though I have got 2 of them as a stop-gap, I am now appreciating their subtlety on a first floor landing and am of a mind to keep the them here. I like the lampshades very much, but unfortunately they were packed inside each other which has left them all except one with a dent all the way round.
