We got this to replace a chandelier lighting we inherited with the house which was too hard to clean and didn't like. This light came very well packaged, you have to assemble everything yourself, but at least we now know how to put in new lightbulbs! You will need an electrician if not capable yourself. Extremely heavy! The chain is extremely long so choosing the length for a very very tall landing like ours was easy.
