I love this light fitting. Although the dimensions are provided, it seems bigger when you see it, which I like. I think it is very god value for money. My only complaint is that I needed to shorten the cable and chain, but when you cut the cable you realise that the wires in the cable are not colour coded, so you cannot distinguish the earth, live and neutral wires. There is a cable connector block at the top of the cable, so as long as you don't have to shorten the cable, connecting it to the house wiring isn't a problem, but once you cut the cable you cannot work out which wire is which. I wired it up, but it didn't work. Rather than keep trying to guess which wire was which, I called an electrician, who used a meter to work out which was which. He refitted the light fitting for me. It cost £90 for the electrician - almost as much as the light fitting!
