This light works very well over the sink in my kitchen! It arrived fully assembled. All you have to do is connect a couple of wires and mount the fixture. The cover is a flexible plastic, so it’s easy to access the LED portion to mount the light. This light is very bright. Almost too bright if I’m being honest. I sometimes used my over the sink light as a nightlight, but this light is much too bright for that. Its brightness is extremely useful when washing dishes or preparing food near the sink. The pictures can be a little misleading. The light is much smaller than it appears. Check the dimensions of the light and make sure it works for you. The light isn’t even wide enough to cover the hole from the old recessed lighting fixture I had there previously. So I’ll have to patch the hole and the then remount the light. I don’t think this light will work well in larger rooms. While there is more than enough light to cover a large area, the fixture is so small that it would look weird in large areas. I would recommend using it as under lighting, or maybe in closets, over workbenches, etc. Overall I think this light is a 45 as it meets my needs. My wife and I replaced two very old, very outdated lights in our hallway that's about 50 feet long with these in white and gold. They weren't difficult to install, and I used Molly bolts on each end to attach them to the ceiling rather than the screws that came with it. I didn't attach screws to the junction box at all, and that made keeping them perfectly straight and centered much easier. The Molly bolts are more than sturdy to enough to hold the light firmly in place.
