Like this wall light very much. It's a good size - not too big and not too small and the swing arm make it very versatile. This is the second pair of these I’ve bought. We actually changed the lampshade on these ones (the original shade is lovely, just wouldn’t work in the room). I love that we didn’t have to hire an electrician. The switch is on a cord, so it’s easy to reach from bed sofa and the lead is a decent length.. Anon. Thu Nov 27 2025

Can I be the only person who finds the design of this light absolutely ridiculous?? Be warned as this is NOT shown in the pictures - once the light has been wired in and screwed to your wall (and therefore it's almost certain to mean your wall decor will be damaged if you remove the light to try to place a different one there instead), the little light switch you see in the photos as being how you activate the light to come on GLOWS BRIGHT BLUE THE WHOLE TIME. So then you are trying to get to sleep with a bright blue halo of light which, this being a bedside reading light, spills onto the whole of your pillow and head area. Unbelievable!!!! And guess what? If, as I did, you try to make the most of having spent £150 on a light that prevents you getting to sleep, you cover the switch in some masking tape, YOU CAN'T ACTIVATE THE READING LIGHT ANY MORE because the switch is touch control and the tape prevents that working. It honestly defies belief that anyone could design a beside reading light so badly. Would the manufacturing company like to respond to this review and explain what was in their heads when designing this piece of utter nonsense? And/or maybe they would like to offer to pay to have my newly re-papered wall papered over again to cover up the damage caused when I remove these lights to replace them with something designed by someone other than a total idiot?
