The light itself is nice, however, the shade is attached around the rim with flimsy velcrow, I've had these lamps up for only a few days and the adhesive securing the velcrow to the shade has already come away, rendering it useless and unattachable. The lamp is well made and attractive. Hanging it was a bit of a challenge, mostly because the assembly instructions are supplied as fairly indecipherable pictograms. The shade, which is made of cheap paper, comes disassembled, and was impossible to manipulate into place, so I ended up using another shade that I already had. The Kensington swing arm wall light in polished nickel harks back to a time of quality. Inspired by library lamps with it’s adjustable reach and metal shade it’s perfect to add a level of sophistication. We’ve updated the style a little simplifying it for the more modern interior. We think it works great with the latest trend in panelled walls. The toggle switch means you can turn it on and off when using it rather than using the wall switch. Also available in antique brass.

Ideal solution for a bedside light as height and angle are adjustable. Good quality. You have to buy the lampshade separately and as I was buying the matching ceiling light (which comes with a shade) the matching shades cost over £60 Each. They are nice linen shades but overpriced..
