This light is very pretty but it doesn't give off a lot of light. We put it in our guest bedroom and I think I will have to put some lamps in there to add some light to the room. Verdi Green

The lamp I received is quite different from the lamp I ordered as seen on the picture. There are no golden borders on each side of the bronze border, and no golden screws on the "flowers". The metal part is all green. Personally I prefer it that way, given the option I would have chosen this version, but still, one should really be able to know what one is going to get... On the plus side the aged metal looks better than on the picture, more realistic, less bright green. As to the glass part: the white bit in the middle is less wide and has a different, more complicated pattern than on the picture, but again, I like it that way too. My main criticism would be that the painted part is not very realistic, if it is supposed to be like marble, I have never seen marble looking that way, but I can live with it . The lamp is very striking. It looks like an heirloom, not something that was made in the last few weeks. I love it, and it is a good job for everybody that I do, in spite of it being quite different from what I ordered, because I waited weeks for it, and it was made to order, so would have certainly been complicated to send back and wait for a replacement! I prefer not to even think about it. I give it 4 stars only because of the discrepancy between picture and reality and because of the non realistic glass painting. Still a beautiful lamp.. Fran. Really nice light fitting. Good quality. Problem in that the hills recommended for the fitting and ouch shed with it do not fit. Only golf ball size bulbs will fit.
