In the smoked glass, Alton creates a beautiful coherence between the blacktop, and the sweeping round shape, which makes the series extremely elegant. The smoke-coloured glass and the delicate shapes add a soft and warm glow to the light, resulting in pleasant lighting. Glass is a major trend in decor, and the combination of glass and matte black metal gives Alton an elegant appearance. The glass in this lamp is mouth-blown and has been individually hand-crafted. Due to this unique process, air bubbles may appear in the glass and the thickness of the glass can also vary. This gives the glass its character and vivid appearance.
