After my electrician installed this fan, we found that the transformer and the remote didn’t work. Luckily, Wayfair sent me a new part immediately. However, once up and working, I found that the high setting isn’t very effective at all, it’s rather noisy and the dimmer light doesn’t dim, it flickers annoyingly or on full is so bright that my eyes see the imprint of the led shade after looking away It’s expensive but the quality in my opinion falls short. The light dims from very bright (brighter than a normal bulb) to a dim glow. Easy to build, although you need a little perseverance fitting all the wiring into the ceiling dome if you are using the shortest height.
