We got this to replace a chandelier lighting we inherited with the house which was too hard to clean and didn't like. This light came very well packaged, you have to assemble everything yourself, but at least we now know how to put in new lightbulbs! You will need an electrician if not capable yourself. Extremely heavy! The chain is extremely long so choosing the length for a very very tall landing like ours was easy. Very good looking light, apart from the plastic pieces on show top and bottom of the string that make it look cheap. If they were in either gold or even grey to match but just look unfinished. Also, should be advertised as adjustable as EASILY can gather up the strings on top and hide, and this almost put me off buying as advertised 1.3m height and non-adjustable...who has ceilings THAT high??.
