Bought two of these to go with the matching ceiling light, they are of the same excellent quality, a bit pricey, but I wouldn't have been happy with lesser quality. They have a discrete on/off switch on each unit, so it is possible just to have one lit out of the pair, no hanging string, which makes me think of a bathroom or bedroom light.
