Exactly like the picture and fits our 1922 house perfectly. I’d like to say it’s just like the picture, which the ball is, but Wayfair doesn’t have 2 different pictures for the bronze or brass parts. We went with bronze which is like a dark gold, not like a brand new penny. Install wasn’t bad despite the directions were pretty lacking with only tiny pictures to show it. As someone who is not an electrician, took some time but it all worked out. For the picture, I have an amber light in there so it’s not blinding. Ps. WOW! After reading the reviews I was confident that this light would be great, but oh my gosh the pics don’t do it any justice what so ever. This thing is massive! It really takes charge of the room! So elegant and stunning. You may need to get an electrician to install it, and it’s a little time consuming and fiddly. We also had to shorted the cable was it was too low for our room.
