Compliments the bed. Needed to replace the brass sconces. The only issue i had was that the mounting bracket screws did not align well with the electrical boc because the mounting studs for the lamp were in the way. Needs an X shaped bracket with a screw in the middle ti be more versatile with the lamp studs on one part and the other is open for attaching to receptacle box. I was looking for a light like this one--very flush mount plus long--to light up a long and narrow area. I got that with the added bonus of having the ability to angle the lights where I wanted. I like the gold color with the matte black fixture base, which looks nice. Overall, the quality of the light seems great. Happy with it.
