The idea behind this range of products was the desire to create unique lamps, using original materials. We used beautifully quilted eco leather, black, matte latex presents its charms wonderfully. We have beautiful upholstery fabrics in terms of structure and color, including velvet, corduroy, suede and velor. We also used a very elegant satin, which adds seriousness and grace. Lovely quality shade, black and orange as in the photos online. Looks even better with a bronze smoked globe shaped bulb with a 'spring-curl' filament. The lower part has a transparent internal plastic layer that reflects the globe so you can see it in reflection only depending on position, so well worthwhile getting a decorative globe. The only stain on this designer light is the fixing screws for the supporting disc on the ceiling aren't the same colour, they are galvanised metal on a black surface. Minor detail, but given the price and quality, it should be a given. I managed to dull them using a black pen, but they should be replaced along with the washers, but the documentation doesn't specify the size and the light was installed within two hours of arrival..
