The lamp is very well made, heavy and happy with it overall, there is just 1 small but significant aspect with this lamp-the shade, just like in the picture-does not perfectly align, tried everything. Also if I were to re-design the light I would put the shade slightly 'lower' since when you look at the lamp from a bit of distance (eg your sofa) you can see 'under' the light, if it were 1 cm lower would be perfect. Crated from metal, this goose neck floor lamp is the perfect addition to your study or cosy reading corner.

Overall I like this lamp shade. The base is heavy which means there’s no leaning, easy to assemble and has a classic look which compliments the age of our home. I’m going to change the shade for a more colourful one though. It’s currently on a stool to add more height so this is why I’ve only given 4 stars as would’ve liked it higher but this was the tallest in this style I could find.. Lucy.
