Brilliant idea! My son had one of these when he was young and I have ordered this one to go in my Grandson's bedroom. The stories you can tell involving travels in the balloon about your child and all his family and toys are endless. He absolutley loves it. Fantastic for anyone who loves story telling and any child who loves to hear them The photo is the original from the 1990's. Jane. Stoke Heath Bromsgrove, GB. Sat Mar 20 2021

Saw that some of the other reviews mentioned the shade is easily damaged. It is paper, so I expected it to be delicate, but the red part does seem especially fragile. That said, it looks really cool and is a good price. I’m using it for general decor and not as a lamp shade.. Pascale. Littleport, Nr Ely, GB. Sat Aug 13 2022

Pack of 2 Paper Lanterns, Regular Wire Ribbing, Individually Packed -Create a stunning atmosphere for any occasion with this pack of 2 large paper lanterns. Each lantern featuring a classic round shape with regular wire ribbing for a smooth, elegant look. Made from high-quality white rice paper and a sturdy metal frame, these lanterns are perfect for weddings, parties, events, or stylish home décor. Each lantern is individually packed to ensure they arrive in perfect condition and are easy to store or transport.

A dramatic and eye-catching design. Unfortunately, it is constructed by rolling the drawing onto the two plastic frames. This takes a bit of practice to have it firm and unwrinkled. While you are practicing(!) you must ensure you don't have anything lying around that will puncture or discolour the drawing, or lose the tackiness of the velcro. Probably - for the high price - a ready-made item is expected. I can understand the flat-pack principle, but don't support it in this instance. One further point, although I found the design striking and unusual, my wife described it as 'pornographic'. It plainly isn't, and that's a wild comment, but that was her first impression, so you have been warned!. Angus. London, GB. Sun Jan 07 2018

the pattern is nice but for such a price it's not worth it. The hole in the center of the frame to fit the shade to a standard ceiling light fitting is way to large so had to create our own adaptation so in effect it is incomplete.. Katarzyna. London, GB. Tue Sep 12 2017
