There are available 30 different combinations wood/textile of this lamp. Inspiration for this lamp came from Leonardo Da Vinci's drawing of the Archimedean solid truncated icosahedron. Hence the name 'Atlante', as a homage to the famous renaissance genius and his studies such as 'Codice Atlantico'. The truncated icosahedron is actually an all too famous solid as it is the shape of the soccer ball.

Oak/Yellow

Our signature wooden pendant lamp with shades made of fabric glued on white PVC. According to the "Kelvin conjecture" the truncated octahedron is the ideal geometric figure to fill a three-dimensional space.

The three lower faces are open. This light is perfect over a dining table for a warm and intimate lighting. Depending on the choice of fabric colour the light shining through the shades can be very dim, with the darker fabrics, or brighter, with the light colours.

Consisting of 20 equilateral triangular faces, the icosahedron is one of the Platonic solids. Its shape with the thicknesses chosen by us results in a rather "solid" solid. That is, its lines cover its surface for a good 30%. The light that filters through is therefore smaller and more tenuous than other solids we make.
