These lamps are lovely. I was a bit worried that the blue would be really dark in colour, and that they wouldn’t be tall enough. But they’re perfect as bedside lamps. The colour in real life is definitely a mid to nearly pale blue, not a dark blue as it looks ok other reviews and the product photo. It’s not an advert misrepresentation as such because when you take a photo the shape and glaze creates a darker illusion. I actually prefer that they are lighter though so I’m happy. Shades are a linen effect, off white - ever so slightly grey. Knocked 1 star off as the switch is in a silly place right near the plug socket which defeats the point of having a switch on the wire. Decided a revamp of our bedroom was much needed. New wall paper, a repaint some new accessories including this cute beside lamps….. how pleased am I.
