The PIR sensor activates in darkness, when movement is detected, and it will turn off its bright white LEDs after 30 seconds, if no movement has been detected. If you'd like the light to be permanently illuminated, rather than only activating once movement is detected, simply set the switch to the On position. The light has a range of 0-3m and the PIR sensor will detect movement up to 10ft.

First of all I have to say the Wayfair Customer Service have been excellent. I can’t give a review for this light as the company who dispatched the light have sent us the incorrect light twice, even though Wayfair specifically asked them to check the correct 50watt light was sent rather than a 20 watt. Haven’t tried to install the light as it’s not the correct one and I need a 50watt.
