Ila revisits the most evocative of industrial lamps, transforming it into a refined hanging light, where its minimalist aesthetics meet the handcrafted character of coloured concrete. Its extremely simple shape, its width reduced to a minimum and its opaque surface make it suitable for illuminating spaces where essentiality dominates. The material character of the concrete it is made of and its colour make it appropriate also for contemporary environments with a strong personality. Ila can be used individually for spot lighting or in groups to illuminate large spaces. Like all Metro Lane products Ila is designed and handcrafted in Italy with high quality materials and components to last over time. There are available 30 different combinations wood/textile of this lamp. Inspiration for this lamp came from Leonardo Da Vinci's drawing of the Archimedean solid truncated icosahedron. Hence the name 'Atlante', as a homage to the famous renaissance genius and his studies such as 'Codice Atlantico'. The truncated icosahedron is actually an all too famous solid as it is the shape of the soccer ball.

The three lower faces are open. This light is perfect over a dining table for a warm and intimate lighting. Depending on the choice of fabric colour the light shining through the shades can be very dim, with the darker fabrics, or brighter, with the light colours.

Matt Black/Matt White

With the softness of a flower, this pendant is born. A new story of light that revisits the typical suspended spotlight in an elegantly decorative tone, giving life to a versatile and modern suspension lamp. Imagine the flowery expanses of the Dutch territory, the changing colours and shapes of its famous tulips. From here we began to tell the light point, dressing it with an organic soul and a structured diffusion of light. The cylindrical element, a fundamental part around which the lamp and its design are developed, guides the light downwards; it is wrapped in a double metal petal that opens slightly, leaving a glimpse of the internal structure.

Pop 1-Light Dome Pendant is classic and minimal at the same time. The selection of colours of these products has a strong urban connotation given by the neutral shades of the lamp, which contrast with the lively colours of the electrical wires.

Swing aluminum pendant luminaire with 2 perfectly curved and intertwined waves. Swing LED hanging luminaire is fitted with 2 lights both downwards for direct lighting. Swing diffuser is a white striped graphic pattern on matt acrylic that enhances the visual effect while the soft but powerful led light shines brightly from all angles due to the dynamic wave design. The swing suspended lamp is dimmable and the led power is 48 watts.

Consisting of 20 equilateral triangular faces, the icosahedron is one of the Platonic solids. Its shape with the thicknesses chosen by us results in a rather "solid" solid. That is, its lines cover its surface for a good 30%. The light that filters through is therefore smaller and more tenuous than other solids we make.

The choice of matte glazed ceramic accents the bold and sharp incisions which remind an archetypal pack basket. The wood element on top is the junction with the material used once for those baskets. The light is captured by the surface and casted direct and sharp on the bottom plane. Alissa is available in 5 vibrant and modern colors with a black cable for the pendant version and a black matte fitting for the ceiling version.
