The molecule light is a simple glass shade pendant lamp with a smoked shade.

Absolutely horrendous lights. They look cheap and nasty upon arrival. The fitting is dreadful where you are supposed to fix the light to the ceiling with a hook. Funny how they don’t show this in the pictures here. These are possibly the worst thing I have bought on the internet. Being returned immediately. Highly recommend not buying these. Simon. The frame is coloured matte black to complement the brown glass shades. Whether lit or not, this piece makes a statement wherever it is displayed.

Great and impressive lighting piece, fills a large space well. Height not that adjustable. Felt quite basic assembling it (and took awhile) but looks good once finished. Im Prinzip schöne Lampe und auch gut verarbeitet. Leider wies unser Exemplar einige Macken auf (schadhaftes Glas, Kratzer, Lackierfehler) Außerdem etwas die geringe Länge der Aufhöngkabel und Stromzuleitung, si dass man sie nicht direkt pber den Tisch hängen kann. There are available 30 different combinations wood/textile of this lamp. Inspiration for this lamp came from Leonardo Da Vinci's drawing of the Archimedean solid truncated icosahedron. Hence the name 'Atlante', as a homage to the famous renaissance genius and his studies such as 'Codice Atlantico'. The truncated icosahedron is actually an all too famous solid as it is the shape of the soccer ball.

The truncated octahedron is one of the thirteen Archimedean polyhedra, obtained by truncating the cusps of the regular octahedron. It has 14 regular faces, of which 8 are hexagonal and 6 are square. According to the "Kelvin conjecture" the truncated octahedron is the ideal geometric figure to fill a three-dimensional space.

Dodecahedron hung by a vertex, a totally different experience! This lamp differs from the other dodecahedrons only because it hangs from a vertex of the solid. This results in a totally different perspective. We made this version in olive wood.
