Wanted a chandelier type light fitting for a newly decorated room but didn’t want another one with glass shades. This light looks modern but with a classic twist. Shortening the chain and arranging the arms is a bit fiddly but relatively easy if you take your time. I absolutely love this light fitting. It's elegant and contemporary, whilst still fitting in with our antique furniture. We bought it to sit above our dining table. We were warned it was very long, but we managed to remove most of the chain and shorten the cable and it looks fabulous. My husband is good with electrics so if you aren't, get in an electrician to help. We bought dimmable visible filament LED bulbs. We use the light on full or dimmed .
