I searched the net for a replacement light fitting for an aging wooden unit that was now unsafe. I tried all the high profile places without success. One more general search threw up Wayfair, which I have never used before. There I found exactly what I was looking for and it happened to be in their sale. I’m careful when using new places to buy from but PayPal was available as a payment method, the deliver charge and time were excellent so I bought the fitting and booked an electrician. The package arrived on time and was exactly as described on the website and has now been fitted. My wife and are very pleased with it, we are both 88 years old and it was important that the unit looked good in our older house, it looks great. I subsequently learned that Wayfair has an Irish base, it set me thinking of home. Thanks for the excellent service, the website is great too, brief factual information clearly displayed. Beautiful rustic chandelier. I purchased this with £150 off the original price! and I'm very pleased. It arrived without damage or signs of wear or tear. The electrician didnt spot any problems, so hopefully it continues to work without any issues.. Gemma. Hounslow, GB. Tue Sep 22 2026

Luxurious brushed gold plated metal work contrasts with twisted clear glass rods, in this simple but stunning fixture.

The size and measurement dimensions are good. Packaging is good. Installation was tricky, with each of the individual light shards needing to be inserted. It's not obvious from the pictures, but the LED light is only on the bottom, not on the top, and that's worth considering if you have a large room. The light glass shards need to be installed one by one, so it's very difficult to get them straight, so up close the it's uneven. From afar, this light looks great, but there are compromises, and for the price I would have anticipated more.. M. Tue Jun 16 2026
