The lights, powered by 2x AA batteries (not included), consist of 20 white LEDs spread out over the structure, with the LEDs at the top of the lamp being enhanced by the iridescent panels. These lights can also be set to a timer function, turning on for 6 hours in the evening, and then turning off for 18 hours to save battery life.
