I searched the net for a replacement light fitting for an aging wooden unit that was now unsafe. I tried all the high profile places without success. One more general search threw up Wayfair, which I have never used before. There I found exactly what I was looking for and it happened to be in their sale. I’m careful when using new places to buy from but PayPal was available as a payment method, the deliver charge and time were excellent so I bought the fitting and booked an electrician. The package arrived on time and was exactly as described on the website and has now been fitted. My wife and are very pleased with it, we are both 88 years old and it was important that the unit looked good in our older house, it looks great. I subsequently learned that Wayfair has an Irish base, it set me thinking of home. Thanks for the excellent service, the website is great too, brief factual information clearly displayed. The chandelier's timeless design features candle-style fixtures and a traditional silhouette finished with vintage-inspired brass. An adjustable height adds further control over your lighting situation. Lightbulbs are not included.

This chandelier surpassed all expectations. It is huge and a real statement in the room, which is just what we wanted. As a previous review states, it’s antique finish means that it reads more brass than antique silver, especially when the sun comes into the room or it’s lit. We had to make extra provisions to reinforce the ceiling to cope with the weight of the light. It’s worth noting that the description states it is not dimmable but when it arrived, I tested with dimmable LED candle bulbs and it dimmed no problem, which is a relief, as when it’s on full power, it’s super bright in the room. It took several hours to construct and isn’t kind on the hands but worth the effort. I’m very happy with the purchase, which arrived promptly and very well packaged.. Anon. London, GB.
