This fan is quiet and would suit pretty much any environment from modern industrial to classy and tradition settings. The 5 speed speed motor make light work of getting the breeze just right, it’s reversible to so you can get the cooling down draft or just a circulation of draft free air. Shame that the reverse motor can not be engaged from the wall mounted control panel, it has to be actioned on the fan which is not ideal, but I knew that when I bought it, so not really a criticism more of a recommendation for future improvements. Superb quality - very well made & super quiet, no vibration, even on full power. At it's fullest all you hear is a bit of wind noise which is quite relaxing, and still no noisy vibration. There is also a breeze mode where the fan increases & decreases speed again - very relaxing & should provide a great compromise for when I need the cool air of the fan but my husband thinks it is too much being constant.
