I love these chairs! I replaced some very badly aging wood chairs that were well past their lifespan. These are an upgrade in comfort as well as style! They perfectly fit my mid century style high rise flat while also being enjoyable sit in! Assembly was a little...iffy. The legs aren't totally square, I had to put the bolts in a certain order or it was IMPOSSIBLE. The base doesn't sit perfectly on the legs, but it doesn't seem to be an actual issue once it's assembled. The blue velvet is vivid and soft. The cushion is sufficient while not feeling like you are sitting on a couch - aka it has good support. It feels like I could comfortably sit in these for an extended period of time - which is not usual for kitchen chairs, especially bargains! They don't flex a lot, though they do let out a groan once in awhile when it you lean back, but nothing that concerns me. Great basic chair!. Tony S. Edina, MN. Sun Mar 05 2023
