Just the right “blue”, with the tiniest hue of turquoise and navy. I’ve been debating these chairs against a West Elm version (see ink blue swatch in photo). I like the Wayfair price point much better! Comfort- a stiff cushion, but I like it that way. Beats my old wood chairs that were falling apart. I’m 5’4”, and while it’s just a tad high for my leg length, I can cross my legs under the chair and feel comfortable for long periods of time. I could see the seat cushion depressing over time (like a bed sags after 20 years) but I’m willing to try this anyways. Durability- quality metal legs with very easy-to-assemble base. I love these chairs! I replaced some very badly aging wood chairs that were well past their lifespan. These are an upgrade in comfort as well as style! They perfectly fit my mid century style high rise flat while also being enjoyable sit in! Assembly was a little...iffy. The legs aren't totally square, I had to put the bolts in a certain order or it was IMPOSSIBLE. The base doesn't sit perfectly on the legs, but it doesn't seem to be an actual issue once it's assembled. The blue velvet is vivid and soft. The cushion is sufficient while not feeling like you are sitting on a couch - aka it has good support. It feels like I could comfortably sit in these for an extended period of time - which is not usual for kitchen chairs, especially bargains!
