The cushion is not fabric, very easy to assemble, absolutely love it. I would rate it a 3 because it had a black hand print which I tried to clean and dent on the cushion and on one of the legs looked repaired, I hope it doesn’t break on me and last me a good time. Really love the look and functionality of these chairs. I have only had them about a week they are super comfortable and definitely waterproof and sun proof. I can’t tell you longevity wise if they’re going to stain or not but so far they have been exactly what I ordered. The reason I gave them four stars just because they were pretty difficult to put together some of the pre-drilled and threaded metal screw holes did not lineup on the seats and the bases.
