Purchased this as a task chair for my new office. The seat is firm (which I love) and the profile is wider than typical side/dining chairs. The back is low and gives a little bit, while oddly providing nice lumbar support. The whole chair is somewhat "stiff" feeling and not something I could sit in for extended periods of time - but will work for my purposes. The cushion is not fabric, very easy to assemble, absolutely love it. I would rate it a 3 because it had a black hand print which I tried to clean and dent on the cushion and on one of the legs looked repaired, I hope it doesn’t break on me and last me a good time.
