Althea 260cm H Cat Tree

Seemed like a great design idea, floor to ceiling, made it difficult for my cats to topple it but the plastic fittings inside the sisal post cracked after 2 weeks of use, causing the cat tree to break in half! Cat tree broke again, a month after posting this review, load of rubbish!

DO NOT PURCHASE! Made from cheap cardboard! I constructed the cat tree and tightened evenlything up as much as possible and still when my 8 month old kitten jumped up it fell over and snapped as shown in the pictures! (And they’re charging me £4.99 to return the product!).

DO NOT BUY THIS FOR YOUR CAT OR KITTEN, IT IS DISGUSTINGLY UNSAFE!! There is no stability in it and falls over as soon as my kitten jumps on it and it is only half assembled. It doesn't even deserve that one star.

The idea was good but when assembled the tower leaned alarmingly and was very unstable and wobbly despite being done up as tightly as possible.

Wirkt alles in allem etwas wackelig, steht bei mir aber neben einem Schrank als Kletterhilfe, daher sollte keine Gefahr bestehen. Das Material ist okay...für den Preis wahrscheinlich sogar gut. Heftiges spielen sollte aber vermieden werden...ist viel Pappe und dünnes Pressholz. Die Lieferbox ist auch nicht so stabil...meine kam arg ramponiert an, hatte kurz befürchtet der ist hin, ehe er aufgebaut wurde.
