The one star is because the cat I bought it for likes it, even though it is too small for him. The product itself is terrible. My cats don't smell, but within a day the cat basket smells like smelly dog! And even worse, after every use the base is wet, sometimes enough it's like someone has spilt water, and smelly. I couldn't put it on the table overnight as intended as disgusting, and didn't want to keep cleaning the floor when I put it there. Washes ok, but I would have to wash it after every use to keep it clean, dry & not smelly. Bined. Totally useless. Never had a cat basket like it.
