it’s so cute and it was really easy to put together which saying a lot considering the directions were all in another language

I as a human give this 5 stars because it is absolutely adorable. But it is not constructed for the comfort of cats. There are too many unpadded hard edges. It also gives off this bad chemical smell even though I have been dousing it with catnip and silvervine spray. I am disappointed because I love my cats and I want their comfort above all else. They don't use this tree. It was expensive but I am going to have to replace it with something else.

I looked at this for a long time because of the expense but decided to give it a try. There are a ton of things to like about it - super sturdy and looks unique. The beds are washable and the material is very soft. There were 2 negatives to it - the top bed was cushioned around the outside but not the inside, meaning the cat rests against a hard surface. I added some rolled-up child blankets to add a bolster. The instructions for putting it together were in Chinese and Japanese. We figured it out by looking at the pictures and guessing which sized screw went where.
