This works amazingly well for my little doggies to climb up and down safely from the bed. It also moves out of the way easily for making the bed.

Like some other reviewers claimed - the COVER was too big even after the foam fully expanded. Regardless, I just couldn't get my dog to use it. Donated it to our local SPCA Thrift Shop.

It inflated slowly, and I helped with a hairdryer, which helped as we were able to use it the same day. The staircase is steady and has the grip required to allow our puggy safe passage up and down the bed. The angle is not too steap.
