172.7 cm H Cat Tree / Condo

this is perfect and my kitten loves it

Two cats adore it. Easy to assemble.

I liked the small footprint of the Vevos 68.5" cat tower and color of the light grey fabric because it fit perfectly into the room. I received it in early September and easily assembled the same day. Although it initially seemed nice, the high perches that the cats prefer to sit became wobbly within two months and they cannot be tightened. when the cats sit on the high perches now the top perches tilt slightly and do not remain totally horizontal. My though is that this tower could only support kittens, but kittens will grow and then the tower will not last. My domestic shorthair cats are a perfect weight and not a large breed. I don't think this tower will last for most cat breeds. Although I wanted a tower that had a small footprint, the perches etc. are spaced too close together to the cats don't have much room to climb around. My cats were smart enough to figure out it is easier to mount the tower by jumping up on a chair, then jumping onto the tower rather than trying ot navigate the tight spaces. I can guide them to climb up the side, by tapping where their next step should be, but unless I do that, they take the easy route and jump the tower from the chair. I had a tower before buying the Vevos 68.5" cat tower. The cats used it all the time and still very sturdy after more than a decade of use, but the fabric and sisal rope scratch posts needed replaced again and I did not want to do that. We're still in the process of painting and moving into our new home so I shoved the old tower into a room that we are currently using for storage and now that the new Vevos 68.5" cat tree has gotten wobbly, the cats don't seem to feel secure using it so they have gone back to using the old tree.
