The green roofing material is rubbish. It gets brittle, breaks up and blows off in little pieces. The plywood then separates. If you’re thinking of taking on a small flock of chickens then the Rowlinson Large Chicken Coop is the ideal home. With plenty of space to comfortably hold up to six chickens and easy access to the coop via the ramp, once inside they will have the choice of four perches or one of three nest box compartments. The sliding door can be unhooked and dropped down, cleaning is easy due to the removable nest box side, which provides access to the inside of the coop with slide out floor and removable perches. The nest box floor and dividers are also removable.

Quite easy to put together and decent build. The chicken wire is a bit of a faff and would do it slightly different if I built one again. Super easy to put together by myself. All parts were included. Instructions left something to be desired, but were ok. Not 5 stars because the zip ties are super thin and cheap, and not enough of them, especially if any break. If you don’t put it together exactly where you’re planning to leave it, moving it will definitely break zip ties (because they’re so cheap). Thankfully I have metal zip ties, so I could fix the broken spots. Tomorrow I’ll go out and redo all of it with metal zip ties, because I’d like to be able to move it around as the chickens eat the grass. The bars are not for roosting (way too thin for chickens that should be roosting flat footed), they’re just stabilization bars.
