I didn't think my dogs would use is but they love it and get on it without any encouragement from me. I have 2 small Shih Tzu's and they get on it together. I like the dog bed and it has replaced two rather shabby beds. The dogs were cautious at first but they have both accepted the new bed. The metal frame is well made and the foam mattress is firm to the touch. My little dogs share the bed and they have chosen their own favourite side.
