Ok we haven’t finished setting it all up, only half way through but it is looking awesome. Our cat is super excited. We decided not to risk the wall (wall isn’t as strong) but to connect it to the side of the book shelf. (It’s secured to the wall).We also decided to have all 4 shelves parallel to each other.
