This comes already put together except for the filter 'chimney', so that was a huge plus. The drawer pulls out easily for you to put the litter in, & while doing this I had to stop my cat Emmy from stepping onto it to use. As soon as the drawer was back in place, in she went & used it, no hesitation at all. It's a sturdy item, easy to clean, masks the odours & looks good. Emmy & I are very happy with it. Thank you.. So easy to put together cats seem to like it and I have found it good for keeping the smell in would recommend We have been using this a while now still really happy with it BUT the top lid does fall through sometimes allowing the smell to come out and it's a bit awkward getting it back up again..
