I was able to construct without a second person. Alignment for the top floor beam is off and therefore is very tight to slide in. Protective plastic is very difficult to completely remove from the window. I resorted to using a razor blade to cut at the edges as it was not coming out from between the window and the wood. We love it and so does our cat Annie. We put it against a window with a small door for her to come and as she pleases. We had to entice her with some treats at first. It’s well made and sturdy when built, a little tricky to put together alone.
