Looks exactly like the pictures. Slightly bigger than a typical medium crate but much better looking in my living room. It creates more of a comfortable, safer feeling place for my dog compared with a complete metal crate which even with a blanketcover and bedding would clatter when she moved about in it. The lock is sturdy and again makes much less of a nose compared with a metal crate. It also provides usable space on top. The only downfall is that the quality of materials its made out of isnt the best you can tell it wont take many knocks before it looks tatty. This crate is everything I hoped for. Well made and looks great. One of my biggest dreads of a new puppy was having that ugly metal crate back in sight. This blends beautifully and is so functional. The bowls can swing to either the outside (best for hyper puppies) or inside (we will flip around once he is older). Our puppy likes the seclusion and goes right to sleep without complaining. For the many imperfections that this came with, I wish it was lower in price. You can expect to see spaces between drawers, drawers not lining up evenly and even small scratches. The door locking is a little annoying since it’s not a smooth up and down. You have to wiggle a bit for it to slide in. This project took my husband somewhere between 2-3 hours. He had to drill extra holes since some of the boards were missing holes for the screws be attached. If you’re not handy, expect this to take 4-5 hours since it comes with figuring it out on your own if there’s missing parts to it.
