The seat cushion has a few places to hold it to couch that are extremely easy undo. I wanted something for my dogs to lay on but not be a "dog bed". This instead looks like a miniature couch. It has the legs to raise it up a little so it isn't on the ground. That was something I really wanted. I also wanted simple but nice. The zip broke and it went flat after a couple of weeks. The material makes it impossible to get dog hairs and foot prints off so they look untidy all of the time .
