This gate is a life saver (more of a time savor and stress reducer). I wanted a simple gate to keep my dogs from running out when my children left the door open too long or my family came over, forgetting that I had dogs. This door went above my expectations. I love the design of it and how it goes so well with the flow. The extra height is great for larger pets or pets that can jump HIGH (like my 2 smalltiny dogs), and that provides me peace of mind. Its a minimalist design that is both functional and stylish. The assembly was relatively straightforward, although I did encounter a small issue. One of the wall-mounted pieces was missing, so I couldnt secure the gate to the wall as intended. The rest of the parts were easy to put together, and the instructions were clear. (However, the part about not removing the ziptie was not in the instructions. I later saw it in the picture). It took me about 20 minutes to assemble and attach it to my door. The gate feels sturdy and well-made overall. The acrylic panels are quite strong and dont seem like they would easily crack or break under normal use. My dog in the picture does not go to the door, and he just sits there close by it. My other dog will run and jump on it scratching it, trying to get out and it hasnt fell even with it to being properly secure to the walls of the door frame (he is a tiny yorkie. I cant make any promises for bigger dogs). It was midnight when I put this together, so the gate door opens opposite the front door, but I can easily swap it later.
