The carpet is ecologically thought through from front to back. The carpet is evenly and finely woven and, together with the cotton warp thread - normal hand-woven carpets have a jute warp thread - looks very noble. The virgin wool used comes exclusively from Europe and New Zealand and is obtained and processed in an environmentally and socially responsible manner. It is rolled to ensure that the hand-woven carpet looks beautiful for a long time. Fulling is a finishing process in which the yarn is worked with warm water until it almost no longer fluffs. Since we want to take the ecological idea further, we have changed our shipping system and sent our hand-woven carpets only folded in sturdy cardboard boxes instead of plastic.
