My fussy little dog, even after 9 years hates walking on the kitchen tiled floor. She often will not walk from front room to back as she has to go over the floor. So I got this long runner which she loves as can use it to go from room to room. It does not slip that is true but the edges do not lay flat to the floor making it a tripping hazard. As I have mobility issues, this was a bit of a concern. So I just got some carpet sticky things to put under the edges that curled and now all is well.
